£99 call-out, paid before the visit.
One published attendance fee. No monthly premium, no policy excess, no claim to file.
What you pay first
The call-out is £99, paid before the engineer sets out. That fee covers attendance and the initial diagnosis — so you are not surprised by an attendance charge after the visit.
- Paid before the visit, not after a surprise invoice for turning up.
- Extra labour, parts and return visits are quoted before they start.
- No membership fee and no excess.
- The same published figure whether you are a landlord, agent or property manager.

How this differs from cover plans
Home-emergency insurance is a different product: you pay every month, choose what is covered, then claim — often with an excess and a list of exclusions. NPR is a reactive desk. You instruct a job when something fails, and you know the call-out before anyone travels.
| Feature | NPR pay-per-call | Typical annual cover | Typical contractor quote |
|---|---|---|---|
| To get help | Report a job or email. No account required. | Buy a policy, then make a claim | Phone around for availability |
| What you pay first | £99 call-out before the visit | Monthly or annual premium | Often unknown until quoted |
| Then | Quoted extras only if more work is needed | Excess, plus anything outside the policy | Labour and materials as quoted |
| Limits and exclusions | We say if we cannot take the job | Cover lists, property-type rules and claim caps | Depends on the trader |
| App, live chat, tracking | Not offered — updates and photo evidence instead | Often part of a membership platform | Rarely |
| Who instructs | Landlord, agent or property manager | Usually the policyholder (tenants only if added) | Whoever calls |

For agencies with regular work
If you manage a portfolio and want named contacts, spend limits or batched invoicing, that is a conversation — not a self-serve membership we will pretend already exists. Raise the first job as normal, or email us to talk about how your agency will instruct work.
When something fails, report it once.
Pay the £99 call-out before the visit. We send an engineer and get it fixed, with photos and a report when it’s done.
