FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

If something is still unclear, email help@npr.services.

What is National Property Response?

NPR is a UK emergency property repair line for landlords, letting agents and property managers. You report a job, pay a published £99 call-out before the visit, and we send the appropriate trade.

What does the £99 call-out include?

Attendance and the initial diagnosis, paid before the engineer sets out. Parts, extra labour and any return visit are quoted and agreed before they are added.

Is this home-emergency insurance?

No. It is not a monthly cover plan, membership or insurance policy. There is no premium, no excess and no claim form. You instruct a job when you need one.

How do I report a job?

Use the form on this website or email hello@npr.services with the property address, urgency, access notes and a description of what failed. A national 0330 number is planned but is not live yet.

Do I need an account, app or portal?

No. There is no customer login, mobile app, live chat or live engineer-tracking map. Those are common on large cover-plan platforms; we will not advertise them until they exist. You get updates and photo evidence after the visit.

Who can instruct you?

Landlords, letting agents and property managers. Tenants should report issues to their agent or landlord, who then instructs us. If you want us to speak to a tenant about access, say so on the job.

Where do you cover?

The service is intended across England, Scotland and Wales. As the network is built we will say clearly if we cannot yet take a job in a particular area.

How quickly will someone attend?

You choose emergency, same-day or scheduled when you report the job. We triage urgency before anyone is sent. We do not publish invented percentage targets or guaranteed arrival windows on this site.

What if more work is needed on site?

The engineer makes safe and completes what they can within the call-out. Anything beyond that is quoted before work continues, so you stay in control of cost.

Will I get photos and a report?

Yes. The job comes back with photographs and a written note of what was found and what was done.

Is the company registered?

National Property Response Ltd is being formed (Your Company Formations order 6230014). It is not yet showing as incorporated at Companies House. The registered office will be added to this site when it is confirmed.

Is the phone number live?

No. The planned number is shown as 0330 XXX XXXX until a real national 0330 line is purchased. Until then, email or the job form is the way to reach us.

What if I smell gas?

Call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 immediately. Tell us once the property is safe if you still need a follow-on repair.
